Typhoid Vaccine

Typhoid vaccines are recommended for travelers to areas with high risk (e.g., parts of Asia, Africa, Latin America). Two types are available in the UK: a single injection (Typhim Vi) or oral capsules (Vivotif) taken over three doses. They protect against Salmonella typhi for three years and are recommended 6–8 weeks before travel.
